Think of all the farms and ranches you know of. Every single one is a business. Knowing how the business works is knowing the ‘behind the scenes’ of how agriculture works. If you gain a solid foundation in business or agricultural communication, you can work in a broad field of business, economics, and communications. In our programs, you will be prepared for careers in economics, agribusiness, and communication at the local, national, and international levels and focus on issues that are most important to rural communities: food and agriculture, environmental quality and allocation of natural resources, and regional development.
At the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, you receive individualized attention. We have a low student-to-teacher ratio, and our faculty members have national and international experience that brings global perspective into your classroom. You will have opportunities to do research in labs and in the field, making you well prepared for your future career.
Welcome to the Aggie family. We are happy to have you.
