The mission of the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences is to enhance the lives of people through education, discovery and outreach, which collectively guide the ethical and sustainable use of land, food, water, and economic resources, thereby improving the health and well-being of humans, plants, animals and the environment.

History

Over the past 100 years, agriculture has changed from horse-powered plows to science-driven innovations and the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences has changed right along with it.
