Biography

Xin Dai is a consulting statistician at Utah Agricultural Experiment Station, Utah State University. She provides support in design, analysis and interpretation of research for faculty and students in agricultural sciences. Her favorite work is to collaborate with researchers at the planning stage to design a study for specific research questions and outline corresponding statistical analysis steps. She works with linear model, linear mixed model, categorical data analysis and multivariate analysis. Before coming to Utah, she was a water quality specialist at Idaho Department of Environmental Quality. She received her PhD in Biological and Agricultural Engineering and MS in Statistics from the University of Idaho. She also received MS in Environmental Technology and Management from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand and a BS in Public Health from The West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University.
