Kaylee Cheshire

After graduating high school I took a tour of Utah State’s campus and fell in love with it. I decided to attend USU, but had no direction, and no idea what I wanted to study. After much exploration and continued support from advisors, teachers, and friends I settled on a Bachelors of Communication Studies. My college experience and the education I received here at USU changed my life! I learned about my passion for people; talking to them, learning from them, discovering their niches and why they do what they do. I began to find great joy in relationships and developed skills around things I never thought I’d enjoy—things like public speaking, collaborative conflict, and the role communication plays in our emotional management.

Coming to USU changed my life, in more ways than I can explain. As a recruiter for the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences I’m dedicated to helping others find their passion and a place of belonging here at USU.
