Biography
Dr. Wang blends his passion for climate dynamics with expertise in weather extremes and climate impacts. Author of "Climate Extremes: Patterns and Mechanisms," his 170+ publications cover topics from floods to wildfire risks and climate change impacts on markets. A former Air Force weather officer and photographer, he's a key figure at the Utah Climate Center, known for pioneering research. His accolades include Graduate Mentor, University Faculty Researcher, and International Professor of the Year.
