Biography
Amber S. Williams, Ph.D., is passionate about teaching topics centered around the apparel and textiles industry. She currently teaches sustainable design and operations, intermediate softgoods design & development, and junior and senior design studio courses in the Outdoor Product, Design &Development program at Utah State University. Her research interests lie in sustainable design systems and educational practices that enhance the use of sustainable systems in design and product development. Her industry experience includes working with men's and women’s clothing brands to fine-tune brand grading standards for fit and conducting fitting sessions with their design teams.

Research Interests
Research interests lie in sustainable design systems and educational practices that enhance the use of sustainable systems in design and product development. Additional research interests involve exploring how Career and technical education impacts the local economy while employing educational methods that improve student learning and engagement.
