This is an incredibly intriguing and emerging topic within landscape architecture and planning. AI could be a major disrupter within these fields while also supporting new innovations and ways of designing. The application of AI here has been varied ranging from spatial planning optimization to detection of emotional responses in environments (affective computing in built environments). The sky is the limit for opportunities in theoretical and empirical work!
