USU’s annual Student Teaching Greenhouse Sale kicks off on Monday, April 14! Doors open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the sale will run through graduation. After that, the hours will shift, so stop by early for the best selection.

One of the highlights this year is the return of beautiful Easter lilies. These stunning blooms are back just in time for the season and are perfect for gifts, home décor, or celebrating spring. Shoppers will also find a wide variety of vibrant pansies, 4-pack bedding annuals, established perennials, and even perennials grown from seed this semester by our very own students. You’ll also find 4-inch geraniums in classic whites, pinks, and reds that are perfect for pots and planters.

While vegetables and herbs are still growing and not quite ready for sale, they’re coming along, so stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks!

The ornamental plants and vegetable and fruit starts being sold began as important parts of courses in the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences' plant science and horticulture programs. Students have been hard at work learning about and practicing plant propagation and greenhouse management in a hands-on, real-world setting. Proceeds from the sale help support USU's Plant Science Club activities.

The teaching greenhouse is located at 1360 N 800 E in Logan, just a few blocks north of campus. Come see what our students have grown and take home a little piece of Aggie agriculture!
