The 2024 Summer Uni+ Program has proven to be a fruitful collaboration between Utah State University (USU) and National Chung Hsing University (NCHU). Dr. Shaw-Yhi Hwang, a representative from NCHU, recently conveyed his gratitude to Dean White for the successful execution of the program in an email that highlighted the positive experiences of USU students and faculty participating in the exchange.

The USU participants have been immersing themselves in the rich culture, diverse agriculture, and unique culinary experiences of Taiwan. The program has not only provided them with academic enrichment but also allowed them to enjoy and appreciate the local way of life, creating lasting memories and fostering deeper international ties.

Dr. Hwang acknowledged the significant efforts made by Dora Brunson, Andree Walker and Simon Wang in making this program a reality. Their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in ensuring that the program runs smoothly and successfully, providing invaluable opportunities for cross-cultural learning and collaboration.

In addition to the on-ground experiences, the collaboration between NCHU and USU has yielded impressive academic results. Over the past year, the two institutions have jointly published 18 manuscripts, marking the highest output from their international cooperation to date. This achievement underscores the strength and productivity of the partnership, highlighting the impactful research being conducted by faculty and students from both universities.
