Funding for Training
San Juan County residents and businesses can qualify to use the Utah State Legislature's funds. Designed to be a training solution for job seekers, current employees, startups, established and growing companies.
Our local employers can post positions on our online community job board to find qualified candidates. Additionally, local employers have access to our pre-employment testing and/or candidates with a competition certification on specific skills to provide employers.
Funding for Workforce Development
Workforce Occupation Training or Continuing Education "I can't afford it" is no longer an excuse! We need you, and we are ready to help. Would you like to receive an education for your current job? Getting a promotion? or become qualified for positions open in your local area?
Short Term Intensive Training (STIT) funds are available for some non-credit courses. If funds are available and approved, these funds will pay for up to 50% of the course fees.
Industry Certification
One of the biggest challenges for economic growth is the mismatch between the job seekers' skills and the skills employers need. Industry Certification allows individuals new pathways for career growth and opportunities.
SPARC works with local businesses to support their need for certification compliance.
