ADVS Employee of the Month

Art Lamont has worked for Utah State University for nearly 32 years, with over 21 years as the business manager for the Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences department. Maintaining the fiscal affairs of a unit as large as the ADVS department requires a thorough understanding of USU policies and procedures and the capability to execute these responsibilities efficiently. Art has risen to the challenge and continues to excel at managing the financial affairs of the department.

Art is easy to work with and quick to answer questions from the many faculty and staff members of the ADVS department. He always seems to have a positive attitude, even when circumstances are less than ideal. He goes the extra mile to help those he works with understand and navigate the financial processes which are in place at the university.

Art’s knowledge and expertise in his field are exceptional. He makes valuable contributions toward achieving goals and his quality of work and productivity speak for themselves. We are glad to have Art as part of the ADVS team.
