This program prepares and trains individuals for a career in health care. Medical Assistants can seek employment with health care providers in offices or other medical settings in both administrative and clinical procedures.

Nail Technician (CP)

This program is designed to help students prepare for and pass state certification tests and licensure administered by the state of Utah. Students will be prepared to create their own small business or work in the salon and spa settings.

Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Nursing assistants fulfill basic quality-of-life needs for patients of any age in residential nursing care facilities. CNAs often work in a wide variety of settings; nursing homes, hospitals, personal homes and assisted living facilities

Pharmacy Technician (CC)

The Pharmacy Technician (PT) program is a certificate program that can be completed in one year in addition to one semester of prerequisites and an externship of a minimum of 160 hours of experiential training following didactic training.

Phlebotomy Technician (CP)

The Certificate of Proficiency in Phlebotomy trains students in the proper technique and procedures for blood draws. The students will leave with the ability to work in the medical field with the skills and tools to extract samples for testing.

Professional Bookkeeping (CP)

The Professional Bookkeeping Certificate of Proficiency is designed to help students prepare for national tests administered by the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB)

Quality and Reliability (CP)

The Quality and Reliability - Institutional Certificate of Proficiency for the TDTE department as part of the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences at Utah State University.

Software Development (CC)

Designed to equip individuals with the necessary skills to thrive in today’s changing technological ecosystem. Students learn programming, design, and application development. These skills are all in high demand across the nation.

Web Business (CP)

Web developers design and create websites and are responsible for site appearance. Web developers are also responsible for a site’s technical aspects, which are measures of a website’s speed and how much traffic the site can handle.

Welding Technology (CC) (CP)

The Certificate in Welding Technology is offered through the Department of Aviation and Technical Education and is designed for students who wish to pursue employment in the welding industry after completing a one-year sequence of courses.
