Biography
Stacy Bevan, MS, RD is a professional practice associate professor in the Department of Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Sciences. She is committed to implementing teaching practices that create community and enhance student learning and engagement.
Teaching Interests
Stacy Bevan currently teaches: NDFS 1240 Food Literacy (lecture and lab sections), and NDFS 4780 Maternal and Child Nutrition. She has also taught: NDFS 3070 Science of Food Preparation. She has taught in traditional face-to-face and blended formats.
Research Interests
Teaching approaches that promote understanding, ability to transfer what one's learning to different situations, including low-stake quizzes, reflection, and innovative assignments.
