Educational Background
Biography
Born and raised in Ohio, where I spent my first 35 years. Moved to California in 1989. Building on 37 years of professional practice I joined the university in August of 2012.
Teaching Interests
Leadership in Landscape Architectural professional practice. Urban theory and design. Design development and construction documents preparation. Career counseling and employment/internship placement. Community-engaged learning.
Research Interests
Community-engaged learning. Strategies for career development and student advising. Landscape urbanism and sustainable urban design. Landscape extension.
