Agricultural Systems Technology, Agricultural Safety and Health

Educational Background
Biography
My expertise is agricultural safety and health training interventions for individuals working in production agriculture. I have authored or co-authored a total 32 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals.
Teaching Interests
I teach undergraduate courses in agricultural systems technology and provide technical expertise in research/statistical analysis for graduate programs in ASTE. My approach to graduate mentorship is motivated to provide opportunities for early career guidance. I encourage students to advance their professional goals by completing scholarly research and publications and to achieve academic excellence in their chosen field of study.
Research Interests
My research addresses the unique and complex safety challenges of vulnerable populations using an innovative social science research program to document the effectiveness of intervention programs. My concentrated area of research deals with the evaluation and assessment of highly effective agricultural production practices and training programs to promote the safety and health of individuals engaged in production agriculture.
