Biography
Alyssa Reidhead is a USU alumni completing the Coordinated Program in Dietetics and Master of Dietetics Administration program. Alyssa has a passion for management and leadership and helping students develop those skills. She currently teaches foodservice management and dietetics management along with a graduate foodservice skills course. She values the importance of faculty mentorship in student career success. When not at work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and traveling.
Teaching Interests
As a Professional Practice Assistant Professor at Utah State University, my teaching interests are deeply rooted in the fields of foodservice systems and dietetics management. My passion lies in the management and leadership aspects of dietetics, which I believe are crucial for educating and inspiring the next generation of dietitians to become industry leaders.
Research Interests
Research is not part of my role statement or appointment. However, I enjoy informal research about how dietetics education can be improved in addition to how leadership plays a part of effective dietetics education.
