Biography

I have lived grew up in Price, Utah and went to high school at Carbon High. I went to work right out of high school as a CNA and EMT-B. I worked in home health and hospice for 7 years, at the time I also began working for Carbon County Ambulance. I went on to get my RN and my EMT-IA. I worked for Carbon County for 18 years, and I am now an Instructor at USU-E for the Nursing Assistant classes.

Teaching Interests

Emergency Medicine and Geriatrics with an emphasis on Hospice Care.

Research Interests

Community healthcare and the relationships with Prehospital care providers and hospital/long term care staff.
