Graduate Student Mentoring Philosophy
As a graduate student mentor, I hope to help graduate students receive tools, knowledge, and experience that will help them towards their goals. With each graduate student working towards a different goal with diverse backgrounds, I want to help them fill the gaps and make their graduate experience worthwhile for their future endeavors.
I work to be a support for students as they forge their own paths for their future. I look to nurture the interests, competence, and confidence that students come with to help the students to take ownership of their educational journey. I hope to continue to be an example in continued education as I learn alongside students and assist in finding the needed resources and information to help with their progression.
