Biography

Andreas Wesemann: 1991 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, 27-year Combat Pilot; director of the Professional Pilot, Aviation Management degrees, Drone Minor and Master of Aviation Science programs.

Teaching Interests

The Art and Science of Aviation, including ground schools, history of aviation, aviation safety, human factors and professional development.
Leadership, motivation and life planning are also topic of interest.

Research Interests

As I work on my PhD, my interests lie in eLearning and online curriculum in aviation, and international students in US aviation programs. I research why students select to join and serve in volunteer organizations, like student clubs, and how that affects them at college and their career transition. I am also interested in the future of unmanned aerial systems, integration into the national airspace, and future interdisciplinary courses with other majors, careers and professions.
