The NDFS Department has a 1,200 square foot Teaching Lab with 3 adjoining chemical fume hoods. The lab has 4 lab benches plumbed with water, air, vacuum and natural gas. The lab is equipped with balances, pH meters, spectrophotometers and several pieces of equipment used in determining proximate analysis. The lab is used for food chemistry, food analysis and food microbiology classes.
