Motahare Abrishami

Biography

Motahare grew up in Tehran, Iran. She studied geographic information systems in her BA at the University of Tehran and then, being curious about urban planning, continued her studies with an MA in urban and regional planning at the Art University of Tehran. Having an interdisciplinary view, she started to model different subjects in urban planning, such as measuring the TODness of areas around subway stations. She decided to complete her education by pursuing a PhD in landscape architecture and environmental planning to gain a more comprehensive perspective and experience while continuing to develop her modeling skills. She is excited to arrive in the US and join LAEP.
