Biography

My name is Forest Cook (he/him/they) and I received my Bachelors of Science in Physical Geography from Middle Tennessee State University with a Minor in Agriculture. I recently just finished my Master of Science of in Geography with a concentration in Climate Adaptation Science from Utah State University. My research interests revolve around smart, sustainable, and socially-just community planning with nature-based solutions to increase climate adaptation, resilience to hazards, improved biodiversity, and improved food security. I describe myself as an interdisciplinary Geographer with an emphasis in environmental planning. I am now a PhD student in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning here at USU in Dr. Daniella Hirschfeld's lab.
