Andrew Hughes

Biography

Andrew grew up in Maryland and graduated from Appalachian State University in 2016 with a degree in Ecology and Environmental Biology. He spent the first three years after graduation working in clinical genetics at the National Eye Institute before leaving to pursue other interests in sustainable agriculture and conservation. Andrew’s other academic interests include soil microecology, riparian restoration, and socio-environmental relationships.
