Saydee Longhurst

Saydee Longhurst, a sophomore studying agricultural education with a minor in entrepreneurship, has been selected by the Agriculture Future of America organization to serve as an ambassador for the 2021-2022 academic year.

A native of Shelley, Idaho, Longhurst applied to be an ambassador to give back to the organization that has enriched her college experience so fully.

“I’ve had amazing career leads, fond memories, and gained a surety of my place within agriculture,” Longhurst said. “I’m looking forward to connecting with students here at Utah State as well as others across the country. I truly believe it is going to take every single one of us involved in agriculture to help the industry remain solid.”

As an ambassador, Longhurst will serve as a liaison between the AFA and students at USU, responsible for communication and promoting opportunities provided by the AFA.
