Community Incubator

(Blanding, UT) - At the beginning of 2021, USU Blanding introduced the Community Incubator and Coworking Space, a place for local businesses to expand and develop while rubbing shoulders with other community members and companies.

Housed in the Small Business, Professional Development, Application, Resources, Certification (SPARC) Building, the Community Incubator and Coworking Space offers a few different membership options that grant access to workspaces, including individual office space and on-site conference rooms.

Members have access to reliable high-speed internet, desktop and laptop computers, headsets, and IT services. Printing services are available with a daily printing allowance for members. The SPARC building is available for use as a professional address, providing an alternative to a PO Box and affording privacy to home-based businesses.

Other services housed in the SPARC building, including industry certification and workforce skills training that support Utah business owners, are conveniently within members’ reach. These programs, such as Custom Fit, STIT, and Google Career Certificates, enable business owners and their employees to complete industry certifications at a reduced cost.

The Community Incubator and Coworking Space also hosts a tourist internet hub. Tourists can purchase a day pass that grants access to workspace, computers, printing, high-speed internet, and IT support. Visitors to the region can enjoy the many activities and sights in San Juan County without sacrificing access to modern amenities.
