Fewer than 1% of applicants are accepted into Under Armour’s internship program. Cory Griffey, a student from our Outdoor Product Design and Development (OPDD) program, is now among that small, select group and recently accepted an internship with Under Armour.

Over 12 weeks, Griffey will gain experience with day-to-day tasks as well as selecting a project of his choice to design and present. With a love for design and the outdoors, specifically camping and hiking, the OPDD program seemed like a good fit for Griffey and allowed him to have hands-on experience developing skills for his future career and opened the door to the Under Armour internship.

“It will be an awesome opportunity to be able to learn from skilled designers working in their field” Griffey said. “I look forward to getting to know the teams at Under Armour and working with them. I can’t wait to put what I’ve learned in my classes to use in the industry!”
