Dave Gibson, an industrial designer, recently spoke to new students in the Outdoor Product Design & Development program about his experience designing gear in the outdoor industry. Gibson joined the class via video chat from his new home in China where he works as well as teaches at a local university there.

Gibson, the owner of Gibson Creative covered topics ranging from why outdoor gear is unique to design for, his experience working as a freelance designer, as well as his life now, teaching and working as a designer in China.
