Noah Lanagenfeld Honored with Horticultural Science Graduate Student Scholarship Award

USU Plant Science Ph.D. student, Noah Lanagenfeld, honored with the American Society for Horticultural Science Graduate Student Scholarship Award.

Lanagenfeld grew up in Central Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point with dual degrees in Biochemistry and Biology. He is currently pursuing a Ph. D. in Plant Science, in the Plant, Soils, and Climate department of the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences. His research focuses on optimizing plant nutrition to reduce water and fertilizer use, a growing concern in today’s agriculture. Horticulture is a tool he enjoys implementing to help others understand the best principles and practices for growing nutritious fruits and vegetables. Being a part of the American Society for Horticultural Science has helped him forge lasting collaborations, gain new insights, and share his work with the world. When he isn’t growing plants, Noah enjoys ultrarunning and aviating in the Intermountain West.
