NDFS graduate student Namhyeon Park received recognition for his presentation about studying microbial properties through the Institute of Food Technologists, an international scientific forum for food professionals and technologists.

"It felt great for my presentation and research to be noticed by other professionals at such a large conference," Park said. "I also felt grateful to our food science program, including my supervisor Dr. Walsh for training me to become competitive in our field.
