For 27 years, hundreds of students who have been taught by Professor Lyle “Doc” McNeal have traveled to an outdoor classroom in southwest Wyoming. Sheep Day is a variable credit class where students perform breeding soundness exams on rams for up to five class credits. The class teaches important skills to future veterinarians, farmers, professors and consumers.
