Images From the 2nd SVM Photo Contest

For the School of Veterinary Medicine's Second Photo Contest, students submitted more than 120 photographs that capture what training to be a veterinarian at Utah State University is really like. Whether they're taking care of newborn foals, preparing for an exam, or exploring Utah's natural beauty, the students in the WIMU program always give it their all.

Below are 20 of the best pictures, including the first-place winner, who received a $25 Amazon gift card. While these images are appropriate for a general audience, please be aware that vet school can get messy, and some of these pictures reflect that.
