Animal science Professor Zhongde Wang tells of his journey to becoming the first person from the isolated mountain village of his childhood to go to college. Then it was on to graduate school in the U.S., a postdoc at MIT, work in the biological engineering industry, and now professorship at USU where his work aims to discover how to battle a number of diseases in humans.
