NCHU Professor Developing Disturbance Ecology Research Collaboration

Dr. Guo-Zhang Song (NCHU) visited Dr. Patrick Belmont’s (Watershed Sciences) study site in Fishlake National Forest and Dr. Curtis Gray’s (Wildland Resources) site in Wood Camp Hollow, which have been disturbed by wildfires and avalanches, respectively. Dr. Song studies how forests change the occurrence likelihood of rain-induced landslides and how vegetation recovers after landslides in Taiwan.
