USU Professor Developing Invasive Plant Research Collaboration

Dr. Steve Young (Plants, Soils and Climate) spent 10 days visiting faculty at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU) to learn about their programs, develop collaborations for the USU Invasive Plant Science Lab (IPSL) and to establish a year-long Integrated Honors Research Experience for Undergraduates (IHREU). Dr. Young will return to NCHU in 2020 as part of the year-long Introduction to Invasive Plants program, which concludes with students embarking on a three-week research trip to the NCHU in Taichung City, Taiwan.
