USU-NCHU Team Publishes on Organic Farming in Taiwan

Adopting Smart Agriculture among Organic Farms in Taiwan is the title of a recent publication resulting from USU-NCHU collaboration. Professor Chifumi Takagi from the International Bachelor Program of Agribusiness (IBPA) at NCHU teamed up with Man-Keun Kim of the department of Applied Economics at Utah State University, along with Sutrisno Purnomo from the Faculty of Agriculture at Sebelas Maret University in Surakarta, Indonesia. They studied Smart Agriculture adoption in Taiwan’s organic farms, which involves systems used in agricultural production that employ new technologies such as drones, robotics, and artificial intelligence. This research was published in the Asian Journal of Technology Innovation in 2020.
