Visiting NCHU Undergraduate Returns to USU Seeking Graduate Degree

January 18, 2021

Hsuan (Bonny) Lu, came to USU on an exchange study abroad program in the Fall of 2018 and as she explored the valley and the university, she discovered USU had an area of study that NCHU did not offer – Kinesiology and Exercise Science. After returning home to Taiwan, Bonny received her undergraduate degree in Entomology and Plant Pathology in National Chung Hsing University in June 2020. She recently returned to USU to follow her passion, exercise science, and is working as the first graduate assistant for USU Global Engagement, helping international student groups and the international student council.

Why is she excited about USU?
"I love USU because teachers here are always willing to help students. Teachers work so hard with us to build us up as a successful student. USU is always my preference to study [at] because I can work very hard in school but also enjoy my life going skiing or traveling to National Parks on the weekend. It is such a wonderful life balance to study here. Work hard and play hard."
