Utah’s dairy foods have a reputation for being among the finest in the nation The state also contributes importantly to America’s dairy leadership.
For example, Edwin Gossner Smithfleld, Cache County, is a member of the board of directors Pacific Coast Dairy and Poultry Association.
L. Glenn Garrett Ogden serves on the executive board National Milk Producers Federation. Walter R. Holdaway, Vineyard, Utah county, is on the board of directors of the same organization. And Vernon L. Bingham, Salt Lake City, is a member of the Federal Orders committee of the National Milk Producers Federation also.
Welby W. Young, Heber, Wasatch county, who currently serves as president of the American Dairy Association of Utah is a member of the board of directors National Dairy Council. Merrill N. Warnick, Pleasant Grove, Utah county, served as national president of the American Dairy Association, 1955-58.
G. Marion Hinckley, Provo, Utah county, is a member of Secretary of the Agriculture Freeman’s Dairy Advisory Committee.
Professor A. J. Morris Utah State University has long been recognized as one of the nation’s dairy leaders also.
