We are networked with professors from different universities across the Western United States. We are always excited to expand our network with professors excited to teach the next generation of dairy food scientists.
To get involved as a professor:
- Agree to foster student's involvement in the BUILD Dairy program involving monthly online meetings, semi-annual, annual and final written reports on their progress through their program (including research), and making oral reports at the annual BUILD Dairy meeting
- Contact the Western Dairy Center at kimberly.rasmussen@usu.edu to complete faculty supervisor form
- Participate in semi-annual and annual meetings
- Participate in monthly BUILD Dairy online meetings
In addition to the scientific training through education, training and research, BUILD Dairy students are encouraged by their professors to participate in a leadership program around dairy technology while completing their graduate program. This includes monthly online meetings (attending and making presentations), semi-annual and annual written reports on their progress through program (including their research), and making oral reports at the annual BUILD Dairy meeting.
