Playing Catch Up is a 2009 granddaughter of the great CHICKS BEDUINO! This mare had a limited number of starts early in her career and was retired from the track due to some physical issues. She is pasture-sound and sells with a bay colt at her side born 3/29/17.
This colt is sired by the four 6’s great stallion BIGTIME FAVORITE (CHICKS BEDUINO x MS DASHIN BIGTIME by FIRST DOWN DASH). The foal is eligible for the 2019 Bitterroot Futurity and will be a promising racing prospect. You can’t go wrong with the long line of great racehorses in this pedigree!
This mare was diagnosed with a Granulosa Thecal Cell Tumor of her right ovary in February 2013. This type of tumor is an uncommon benign growth, that once removed, has no long term negative impact on fertility. Her right ovary was subsequently removed and she was successfully bred in the 2016 season to produce the 2017 colt that is now at her side.
