“Stitches” is a double registered (AQHA & APHA) filly by Spooks Gotta Whiz out of a NRCHA money earning daughter of Smart Chic Olena. Stitches is flashy filly that is very gentle, smart, and willing. She is soft and has a lot of stop. Stitches has a ton of athletic ability, has 90 days of riding, and is ready to start her show career.

Utah State University takes the utmost pride in our sales offerings. In the interest of full disclosure, this filly developed an acute onset lameness as a weanling in October 2015. At that time, she was diagnosed with osteochondrosis in the lateral trochlear ridge of her femur in her left stifle. This is a common location for a horse to develop this type of abnormality. The lesion was arthroscopically debrided in November of 2015. This type of lesion once debrided in a young animal, carries a good prognosis for full athletic function. She was allowed ample time to heal prior to starting back in training. This filly had done well in training this past season and to the best of our knowledge is fully recovered. Radiographs are available for this filly and include both pre and post operation images.
