“Andes” is a 2019, 14.3 hand gelding that was started in the Utah State University Equine Program. Throughout this program he has learned to tie, lead, lunge, pick up feet/stand for the farrier and load/unload in a trailer. He has also been bathed, clipped, and blanketed. Under saddle the colts in the program are taught basic body control at the walk, jog, and lope. During the last semester Andes has been ridden by a student indoor and outdoor as well as during classes and a variety of environments. He has crossed logs and bridges as well as having a rope swung on him and dragging a log. Andes is an athletic balanced colt that would make an excellent prospect for all aspects of ranch work, roping, barrel racing, versatility, all-around riding, etc.
