USU Hydrivin Whip aka “JR” is a sorrel AQHA gelding by Metallic Whip (Metallic Cat x Watch Me Whip, NCHA Non Pro Triple Crown winner, LTE $182,701). JR is out of MamasDryvin Cats, NCHA earner of $2,390 by HYDRIVE CAT, LTE $416,709, NCHA Open Futurity Reserve Champion. JR weighs 1,208 lbs and is 14.1 Hands tall. He has been a part of the Equine Behavior and Training class at Utah State University. JR is proficient in leading, picking up feet, being blanketed, bathing, clipping, round pen work, and is started under saddle. He has also had exposure to ropes and the mechanical cow. While JR is very smart and learns fast, he is athletic and feely and would best suited for someone who is experienced working young horses and or rides with a trainer that can assist in furthering his training. JR has great potential for any type of ranch work, roping, and/or versatility. He is up to date on all his vaccinations and deworming.
