USU Metallic Drifter aka “Cojo” is a handsome and flashy red roan 2 yr old gelding sired by Metallic Whip (Metallic Cat x Watch Me Whip, NCHA Non Pro Triple Crown winner, LTE $182,701) and out of RSR Cuatros Cowgirl with a pedigree including PC Redwood Manny and Mr San Peppy. Cojo is very cowy and has a lot of try in him. He is built tough and sound, weighing 1,215 lbs, and standing 14.3 hands high. He is quiet to handle when grooming and is attentive when you need him to be. Cojo will make a great friend to any who ride him. He’s been started under saddle in the Equine Behavior and Training class at Utah State University. His lope is a pleasure to sit, he stops hard, and is learning to back like a pro. He can walk trot, lope, pick up his leads, move off of your legs and has been exposed to various objects including having a rope swung off him and exposure to the mechanical cow. This is a really nice young gelding with size, color, and already started and ready to go to work.
