Professional Mentorship Program

Landscape Architecture & Environmental Planning

ASLA Utah and LAEP Mentorship Program

The LAEP department facilitates a student/ alumni mentorship program. Building on the principles of the National ASLA Mentorship program, the LAEP Professional Mentorship program is focused on connecting students and professionals. LAEP alumni in any location are welcome to participate.

This year mentors may choose from two options, full mentorship and flash mentorship. Full mentorship is a one to one relationship that lasts for one academic year. Flash mentorship is a one-time, one to one 30-minute session to discuss professional topics. Mentors may choose to participate in one or both options.

The program is flexible, with mentors and mentees determining methods and frequency of communication. Commitment is for one academic year.
