Qloss is a value used to track the current (in amp-hours) going in and out of the batteries. The value for Qloss increases as the batteries discharge and decreases as the batteries are charged. This value can never drop below zero.
An algorithm using a combination of Qloss and incoming radiation will determine what sensors and displays are running and at what frequency based on the power available.
